The opening piece in my gallery of old art:
This was a border I drew back when I first started taking art classes full time. It was intended to frame a myriad of subjects that I would composite into it as time progressed. However, I barely used it once before I ditched the concept.
Seems fitting to use it as a "portal" through which the rest of my work will follow in procession. At last, I get to put it to some conceptual use, haha!
